Chemistry (FPCHEM L1)
This course provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamental principles of chemistry, equipping students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to understand the composition, properties, and behavior of matter. Students will explore essential topics such as the states of matter, atomic structure, the periodic table, chemical bonding, and chemical reactions. The course also emphasizes quantitative problem-solving through chemical formulas, stoichiometry, and solution concentration calculations. In addition, learners will examine fuels, combustion, mixtures, and solutions while developing essential laboratory techniques, accurate measurement practices, and the ability to analyse and interpret experimental data. By the end of the course, students will have a strong foundation in chemistry concepts and practical applications that support further study in science and related fields.
